The Energy Label helps you to identify most efficient units
Since 2005, the European Directive 2002/31/EC regarding the Energy Label has been in force in accordance with the targets laid down at the time of the Kyoto protocol. The Directive requires that all air conditioners with a cooling capacity of less than 12 kW be equipped with a label clearly stating their energy consumption levels.
The labelling directive classifies air conditioning systems in 7 categories (from A to G) according to their energy consumption. Those appliances with the best energy efficiency are awarded an A label (Green colour arrow on the label) and those with the lowest energy efficiency are awarded G label (Red colour arrow). This label also includes a certain number of details (Brand, Model, Cooling and Heating capacity, Noise level) and allows the user to compare the efficiency of different products.
